16 today!

Good morning blogland,

It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers this week, and it's a special week as well - the challenge blog officially turns 16!

So because this is officially a 'big thing' it's a big challenge this week - both teams are participating and there are loads of prizes on offer from lots of sponsors.  In with these wonderful prizes the challenge is very easy going and this week we'd like to see 'anything goes' but you must still use your markers.

The sponsors and their prizes are too many to list here, so pop on over to the challenge blog and have a look, while you're there take a look at the wonderful cards my Teamies have created and even, why not, enter the challenge yourself! There is a limit of 3 entries per person this week, but then who's got time to create 3 cards in one week - I know I haven't!

Speaking of cards - here's mine (and it's a total coincidence that it's for a 16th birthday!).

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
Saturated Canary - soda shop introvert (there's no point linking to it as the etsy shop is closed, if you want to find Krista's images you have to subscribe to her Patreon account).
I coloured with my Copic markers

Rubber stamps:
Kaiser Craft - today (it's part of much bigger sentiment and I masked off the rest to get 'today')
taylored expressions - simple strips : birthday

Dies:
Poppy Stamps - scalloped stitch frames
un-branded stitched rectangle
taylored expression - simple strips: well rounded

Anything else:
scrap piece of very old scrapbook patterned paper
acetate
sprinkles
very, very, very old chipboard numbers

And that's about it folks - it's all still all go at home and very out of routine, which if I ever get to make a card 'just because' I will do an accompanying post and explain.  Unfortunately at the moment, I only make cards for challenges, as that's all the time I have - and even then I'm forever running late.

See you soon,
Sarah

Seeing red...

 (or pink!)

Morning blogland

It's new challenge morning for Team 1 over at Passion for Markers and this week the challenge theme is 'use red and/or pink' with our sponsor being SheepSki Designs.

The D.T. were very kindly allowed to pick a digi stamp to use - if they wanted - this is my make with my pick:

Digital Stamp:
SheepSki Designs - Sleep Tight
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Tonic Studios - Say it with Sentiments

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangle set
Whimsy Stamps - Big Hugs die set

Anything else:
some light pink card

My goodness I had a few problems with this card - how is it some come together perfectly and others just fight you all the way!  The pink linen effect card wasn't pink in some lights, the 'hugs' die was lovely to use but I decided to try cutting it along with some 3d foam (rather than cutting x3 sets of the die out and gluing it together) and it just stuck to everything! Then I ended up with glue everywhere as I didn't like to piece of card that was the top layer of the die and decided to change it.  Finally the sentiment is one stamp - I masked it to make it work how I wanted and I got rather inky, luckily, though, only on me not the card! Also those are supposed to be freckles on her face - not the measles! Phew - got there in the end and not too bad a card, even if I do say so myself - other than the measly freckles!

Anyways enough about me, pop on over to the challenge blog - my Teamies cards are lovely and I bet were made with less drama than mine!

See you soon,
Sarah

Hugs

Hi everyone,

First New Release of 2025 for All Dressed Up and, as always, such a super cute image!

Supplies used:

Digital Stamp:
All Dressed Up - Spring Hugs
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Tonic Studios - Say it with Sentiments

Dies:
Time for Tea Designs - Hugs stitched sentiment die
un-branded stitched rectangle die set

Anything else:
striped card
self-adhesive gems

And that's about it folks.

Other than on a personal note - TTT has had another offer arrive for University a place.  We've now heard from Lincoln, Hull and Sheffield Unis - all with offers for her for their Psychology Degree courses.  Super proud of her and she's going to be the first one in both our immediate families to go to University.  That's if I can get her to actually check her emails - she does seem to be super reluctant to look at them! Must admit I'm on tenterhooks for these offers, she appears to be either remarkably laid back or almost insensible about it - teenagers! What do you do with them?!

And that is definitely off now.

See you soon,
Sarah

Happy Birthday - Sweet Stampers!

Good morning blogland!

An unexpected post today, yes it is Saturday and yes it is time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' but it's not my Teams turn!  So to explain: both Teams were invited to play along this week because today the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog celebrates a birthday - we turn 15 years old!

I must admit I'm surprised and yet not surprised it's been 15 years!  It sometimes feels like Sweet Stampin' started only a short time ago, but I can still remember joining in with the challenges (before I joined the DT and then after I had left) when TTT was only little and she turned 17 this year!

I'm going to sound so old lady like here - but doesn't time fly!

Anyways it's great that Sweet Stampin' is still going strong and in celebration of still going strong this fortnights' challenge celebrates 'Birthdays'.  As always this is a 'for fun' challenge, so no prize other then the pride of being a Top 3, and there are only two rules which are follow the theme and use a stamp (rubber or digital) somewhere on your project.

So the card I've used for this challenge is, for once, one I made for a specific person! Arabella is the daughter of the colleague who went off on maternity leave (and the reason I have this job!).  Another, my goodness moment - has it really been that long!

Stamps used:
Mo's Digital Pencil - One
coloured with my Copics

The sentiment was created in Publisher

Dies:
Pretty Pink Posh - Scallop Borders 1
Creative Expressions - Noble Collection: Double Stitched Squares

Paper:
echo park paper co. - sweet girl

Anything else:
self-adhesive flat back gems

And that's it folks.  While this post is posting I should be happily doing gentle weights, safely ensconced in our still new home gym and being glad I don't have to leave the house in the rough weather we've had, and are having, at the moment.

See you soon,
Sarah

It's a little spotty!

Good morning blogland,

It's time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' and this fortnight the theme is 'Spots and Stripes'.

As always, this is a 'for fun' challenge, so no prizes - we do this just for the fun and love of stamping!  There are also only two rules - follow the theme and stamp (rubber or digital) on your project somewhere.

Here's my card:

Supplies used:

Rubber stamps:
Image:
Whimsy Stamps - Ruffles / Time for Tea Designs
coloured with Copics
Sentiment:
Taylored Expressions - Simple Strips: Friendship

Dies:
Creative Designs - A2 Card Creator
a very old tab die - so old I can't even remember where I got it
Taylored Expressions - Simple Strips: asymmetrical

Anything else:
Time for Tea Designs - Simple Stripes Stencil
Cosmo Cricket - Pixie-Licious
Distress Ink
blending brush
flat backed gems

Back in the using smaller un-inked rubber stamps groove, so the American sized card die came out and I've made another diddy card.

Right I'm off now to do some painting - of the walls sort!

Bye for now,
Sarah

More children!

Good morning blogland,

Did you notice Tuesday has rolled around again - and as it's been two weeks since the last time I was moaning about Tuesdays rolling around that means it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  There's a difference though, this week it's my pick for the challenge!

Our lovely sponsor this week is All Dressed Up Stamps, with a great prize, and my pick for the challenge theme is 'For a child'.  Not the most adventurous pick I know - but ADU have the cutest stamps and I thought they go well on children's cards. The only other rules to follow are: use your markers and have fun!

I know I waffled on last time I did a 'for a child' challenge about tending to make boys cards - so I bucked the trend! I've deliberately chosen a sweet girlie image and the card is squarely aimed at little girls.  Not that I know any little girls to give the card to anymore - I only know moody, stroppy, argumentative teenaged girls :-)

My card:

 Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
All Dressed Up - Birthday Girl
coloured, as always (do I even need to say anymore?) with my Copics

Rubber stamps:
Catherine Pooler - All Around Wishes Sentiments
Woodware - Celebrating You

Dies:
Whimsy Stamps - Special Word Die
Pretty Posh Pink - Scallop Borders 1
un-branded stitched rectangle die set

Papers:
First Edition - Let's Celebrate

Anything else:
Mixture of flat backed glitter gems

Anything else to add?   Oh, yes - I flipped the digi, normally she's facing the other way but I felt it worked better for my layout to have her facing this way.

On a personal note, our trip round the local-ish Uni's continuing we made it to Loughborough last weekend but hopefully that's it for now.  TTT's not keen on going further afield to study and so we've covered the nearest Uni's to us, now it's time to sit / compare / contrast and think for a bit.

And that is it folks - until next time.

Girls rule - OK!

 Good afternoon blogland,

Again, an odd time for me to be posting, but I looked at the calendar today and realised it's (already!) nearly the end of August so I thought it was probably well past time to do my All Dressed Up Facebook Group DT challenge inspo card.

The August challenge theme is 'Girls Rule' - so basically anything girlie - and you've got until the last day of August to enter.  Now I thought to myself rather than just making it girlie, I'd make it more Girls Rule - OK! So with girlie a bit of attitude / sass / we are the best type of angle.

Hope you like how it turned out!

Supplies used:

Digital stamps:
All Dressed Up - Play day
coloured with my Copics

The sentiment was amongst a job lot brought as SVG files (even though I don't have an electronic cutting machine) because I liked the sayings from an Etsy seller

Stencil:
My Favorite Things - Wonky Dots

Anything else:
un-branded stitched rectangle dies
some bright red wood look light card
flat back pearls
Distress Inks
blending brushes

The digi image - as sold - is a full length image of the girl with her dog and she is facing the other way.  For the idea I wanted to go with I flipped the digi vertically and then chopped legs and dog off, finally making the digi much larger than I would assume was intended.  I just thought the girl on her own really suited that self-confident sentiment!  I also used the black / white / red combo, because I thought she need to come across with that 'rock chic / don't give a damn' feel to make the sentiment work,

I hope you like my girls are the best! card and please pop over to the Facebook group, if you Facebook, my Teamies cards are just lovely.  If you don't do Facebook, there's always the ADU blog - they also have a monthly challenge and lots of inspiration posts.

Hope everyone is doing well and see you again soon,
Sarah

Here comes the Sunshine

Finally!

Good evening blogland, just a quick flyer to share my All Dressed Up Facebook Group DT inspiration card for July's challenge over in the Facebook Group.

So this is quite a late post for the challenge  - like I said this is a July challenge - but better late then never, I suppose!  You have until the end of this month to join in, the only rules are use an All Dressed Up digi and follow the theme, which this month is 'Seasons'.

I think I must have finally got something right - when I created this Summer card when it was still cold and wet right now Summer has finally arrived!  It's lovely, sunny and warm here in chilly Lincolnshire and I'm loving it!

Here's the card:

Supplies used:

Digital Stamp:
All Dressed Up - Summer Fairy
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamps:
taylored expressions: Sending Sunshine
taylored expressions: Simple Strips: Friendship

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangles
taylored expressions: Asymetrical

Anything else:
linen style card

Small update from me - TTT is off on school hols now and on Sunday we take her to London, she's staying there in UCL University Halls whilst doing a two week Psychology Summer School!  She's half way through her 'A' Levels now and it's looking like Psychology is her chosen career.  This two weeks is supposed to show her all the different types of Psychology careers and options and help her decide what aspect of it she wants to go into.  Two weeks without her, not sure if I'm happy or sad - we will find out in due course!

See you later,
Sarah

It's a dies sort of day

Good morning bloggers,

It's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and it's my turn to pick the challenge! Eeek!

So for this week we are all to 'Use a die'.  I thought it was appropriate choice as it's Dies to Die For who are our sponsors this time round, with a great prize on offer for one lucky winner.  As always we would like you to follow the theme and use your markers!

This is my make for this week:

Supplies Used:

Digital Stamp:
Polkadoodles - Milkshake Drink Rebel
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Woodware Craft Collection - Word Fragments 2

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangles set
Whimsy Stamps Die Collection - OMG! Word Die Set

Anything else:
Copic Fine Liner
white gel pen
gold Sakura pen
flat back gems

I also thought it was a good idea, as the theme I picked with 'use dies' to try and use a die in a different way.  So the hand-drawn frame you can see is made by placing a stitched rectangle die on the Copic friendly card, that I use to colour on, and drawing around the inside.  I know it's not an original idea, but something I've not done in awhile.

Please, if you get a chance, head over to the challenge - my Teamies have done good with my theme! :-)

See you later,
Sarah

Feeling Sentimental

Good morning blogland,

It's a Tuesday morning and time for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers, this week our Teamie Marlene has picked the theme and she's chosen 'Add a Sentiment'.  So this week break out those markers and add a sentiment to your creation!

We're sponsored by the ever wonderful Polkadoodles and the prize on offer is 3 digi images of the winners choice.  The DT were allowed some digis to use and this is my make with the image I used:

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
Polkadoodles - Balloon Days
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Woodware - Celebrating You

Stencil:
Taylored Expressions - Scattered Stars

Anything else:
Creative Expressions - Noble Collection: Double Stitched Squares
Distress Ink
blending brush

Just looking at that card now - I'm wondering if I stamped the 'Have a' a bit on the wonky side!  I keep turning my head on the side and trying to work out if it's me or the card - I'll have to go find the original and take a close look!!

So hope all you colourists out there take a wander over to the challenge and pop a creation in when you're there and also a take a look at the fabulous cards my Teamies have made.

See you soon,
Sarah

Hello 2024...

Good morning blogland

And a very Happy New Year to you all!

I'm here with my first DT card of the year and it's for the new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' with everyone from both Teams welcome to play along and the theme is 'What's new with you?'  Which basically means New Year - new things. Whether that is new stash, new technique, new job, new house, new baby - just something new!

As I don't know anyone doing any of the physical 'new' things and I don't need any New Year cards, I went with new stash and also New Years promise to self (I don't do New Year Resolutions - too much pressure  and then the disappointment when I break them 3 weeks in, well!).

So the new stash - it's the dies I used; the New Year promise - to use my smaller physical stamps.  I have drawers and drawers full of rubber stamps a lot of which just don't work on the top fold 5x7" cards that I make in a fairly clean lined style - stamps are too small! Whilst surfing sales I saw Craft Stash dies in American sized A2 landscape and portrait sets to make the base card and with additional shapes to create the front as well - only £9.99 each - who could resist.  Perfect thinks me - little diddy sized cards for little diddy sized stamps!

I know I won't get that much use out of the fancy shapes - I don't think - but the card bases and the square / rectangle shapes, those I will use!  I also got the matching envelope die set, I'm terrible at measuring and cutting and thought it sounded like a quick fix just die-cutting the shape out.

This, therefore, is my card - whaddya think??

Supplies used:

Rubber stamps:
Lilli of the Valley - Party Girl
(although mine is the rubber stamp version so old that they don't sell it anymore!)
coloured with Copics
taylored expressions - simple strips: Birthday

Dies used:
Creative Craft Products - A2 Landscape Card die set
Creative Craft Products - envelope set
taylored expressions - simple strips: asymmetrical

Papers:
First Edition - Dreamcatcher

Anything else:
coloured card for matting / layering
scrap of ribbon

Oh, and the diary is new as well!  Another thing I'm going to get right this year is being on time with DT cards and also I need to keep track of what days I'm working - so a new diary was called for!

There that's my first post of the New Year - I'm going to be back sooner than you think!

Hip to be (not) square

 Hello blogland,

It's Saturday and Team Wends turn to play over at Sweet Stampin' - this fortnight the challenge theme is No squares

We'd like to see any shape you can think of for your creation - other than those squares. Please remember, also, that a large part of your creation has to follow the ethos of the challenge - stamping! It doesn't matter if it's old fashioned rubber stamping or the new! invention of digital stamping, there just has to be some stamping on your entry somewhere.

Now if I'd planned this I'd be going for a circle (it's what I tend to make if I'm not doing a square or rectangle) however with me having no foresight or planning I'd run out of time to make something. Hence I raided the archives - once again - and came up with this shaped / folded card I'd made for a friend of TTT's awhile ago, hope you like.

Front shot:

Open:

Side on:

Supplies used:

Rubber Stamp:
The Greeting Farm - Miss Anya Lounge
coloured with Copics

Dies:
Very, very old GoKreate - Frilly Frame
Spellbinder for the border and the mount for the stamp

Papers:
So old I'm not even sure where they are from - it could be Craftwork Cards but I'm not sure

Anything else:
flat-backed pearls
pre-printed sentiment from Craftwork Cards

I do hope you get a chance to pop over to the challenge blog, my Teamies have been much more inventive than I have with shapes (and also more organised to get something new made!).

See you soon,
Sarah

Not quite Monday, nor Wednesday either

Or morning, come to that! So not quite routine yet, but getting there.

Good afternoon blogworld,

As you can see school went back - yay - but not on Monday - boo - that was reserved for the new Year 7s. Poor things didn't get an Induction day, while they were still Year 6s, due to Covid-19 restrictions. This meant that only Yrs 7, 8 and 6th Formers went back on Monday to allow the little 'uns to have some time being shown about by the older lot before the rest of the school swamped them! Not that it's a big school - there are around 500 and something pupils - but a lot of the Primaries around here are small so, to some children, it will seem very daunting.  I know it did for TTT - who is now in Yr 10!

Thinking about TTT back in school I have to re-assure myself I'm not a bad mother for being pleased about it. I'd always said if I had kids I wouldn't be the one celebrating schools' return - but here I am! To be fair she does enjoy school and, as we are just us three, doesn't get to see many people during the holidays. So for her going back to school means seeing her wider circle of friends not just that I get my 'me' time and routines back. So I know I'm not a terrible mother as happy daughter = happy mother!

And, waffle over! Onto card:

I have no reason at all to make this card, it was done purely to start joining in again with challenges after struggling to find the time during the Summer holiday.

Here you go:

Supplies used:

Digital stamps:
Image:
AlexShopsArt :The image doesn't have a name that I can find, but is under Owls and Birds
(I added a link as it was a new Etsy shop to me and I do like to pass on buying opportunities!)
Coloured with Copics

Sentiment:
LoTV: Everything Gets Better

Rubber stamp:
Kanban: Urban Belles - Birthday
I used a small 'Birthday Girl' sentiment from the set

This is what I did:

Imported the digi stamp and sentiment into a Word document to re-size them for the square card blank.
Added a double frame with the shapes options in Word and printed onto Copic friendly paper.
Coloured in the image and added the small rubber stamp under the larger digital sentiment stamp.
Cut to size, popped onto some 3d foam squares, mounted the panel onto the card blank.

et viola, job done!

Not the most elaborate of cards, but a good start back with the Copics after neglecting them recently.

So I hope everyone else in blogland is as good as they can be and are happy being creative - I know I am!

Sarah

A quick hello

Hi Blogworld,

Nearly another week has gone by, hard to believe we are at the half-way mark of the summer holidays. Looking forward to getting my craft time, and it has to be said, my routines back as well!

It's all very well to have holidays, but I actually like knowing which day of the week it is.  We were in Skegness on Sunday and I missed getting into B&M (I do like a bargain!) because I forgot it was Sunday and the shops close early.

Obviously we were there for TTT - it was a friends birthday last Friday and TTT had been invited for a day in Skeg-vegas to celebrate. They did a 'Clip & Climb' (attached to harnesses climbing what looked like giant Lego pieces stuck together) - voted a thumbs up; a Virtual Reality game - a thumbs down; played on the 2p machines in the arcade - a thumbs up; had McDonalds - a thumbs down from TTT (McD's are not vegetarian friendly); Laser Quest (shooting each other in the dark with lasers) - a thumbs up and a go in the only bit of soft play that they are allowed in now they are teenagers - a thumbs up.

We were there from 11am to 6pm - can you see why I get no craft time in holidays!!

So I had to make a very quick card for said friend and here it is:

Supplies:

Digital Image:
Saturated Canary - Peace and Chill
coloured with Copics

Digital Sentiment:
Lili of the Valley - Grunge Stamp Sentitments

Rubber Sentiment:
Catherine Pooler - All around wishes

Think it's fairly obvious I printed the image and sentiment onto a piece of Copic friendly paper and coloured it - giving a very simple background - then mounted it on black card onto my card base. Done!

Hopefully see you again before next week!

A cuddle of cats

 Good morning Blogworld,

And how are we doing this morning, all good I hope! Life is plodding on in chez Sarah, finally back into a good routine after the excesses of TTT birthday - and I include exercise in that as, obviously, baking and eating copious amounts of cake then not getting my exercise does nothing for the old waist line! Back on the waggon, or more accurately up on my feet!

Of course, we've now only got a couple of weeks to school hols and then my own birthday - so it could all de-rail again at any time, arrrgggh!

I think that's enough of my waffling, lets do cards!

This is TTT's birthday card from her dad.  I said before we get her two cards as there's just the three of us, so if we didn't do that she'd only have one card before she got the ones from her friends and I always feel a single card sitting on the side looks a little sorry!

Card:

Supplies:

Stamps:
Main image:
Stamping Bella - tiny townie Courtney loves kitties
coloured with Copics
Sentiments:
Catherine Pooler - All Around Wishes
unknown stamp set for 'daughter' but probably Do-Craft

Dies:
Memory Box - heart ensemble

Other supplies:
Anna Marie Designs - striped paper
card and numbers from my stuff

And that's it folks!

Gotta go now, as am taking my bike off for a service and hubby is waiting for some assistance to get it into the car! Will be nice to be out on the bike again, I'm very much a fair weather rider but I do enjoy cycling.

See you soon,

Well, how did that happen!

Good morning blogworld

I have no idea how this happened, but it's TTT (The Troublesome Teen - also known as The Daughter Emily)'s 14th birthday today.

I'm currently surrounded by baking paraphernalia, as the first cake I made just doesn't look right, and am on second recipe, gone back to the good old chocolate sponge!

So I'm not hanging about, but I did want to share the picture of the balloons we got for her - a fantastic local company who make marvellous balloon displays - and the card I made from me for her.

I'll be sharing the card I made for her from her Dad another day. I know it's odd, but as there are only the three of us we get her a card each otherwise it's a very sad display of one card! Well until the ones from her friends start appearing - then she gets more cards than I ever have!

So balloons (with the Father's Day display snuck in too!):

And card:

I used:

Digital Stamp: Sweet November Stamps - Zodiac Girl : Cancer
Coloured with Copics
Papers: Prima - Fairy Flora
Die: MFT - Stitched Rectangle STAX
Anything else: Sentiment from Craftwork Cards and Bling from my stuff

Maybe, if she gives permission, I'll stick a picture up of her which will explain why all my girls are coloured with red hair!!

Really do need to run now, got things to be doing,

As Yu Like it Challenge: Favourite Tip (and use it on your entry) - Weeellll, my favourite tip is not to stress too much about things that go wrong!!  The background for this image should have been a sky - it looks like bubbles! Also I nicked the cardstock I mounted the image on, so it's a bit rough.  Finally I don't like the where the three gems landed up, personally think it'd flow more if they were off the image but they stuck really well when I put them on the image and I couldn't move them!  All that stress and my daughter really loved the card - I got a 'it's wonderful, Mummy' - she didn't see what I did wrong, she only saw a card I'd made for her!

Love to shop

 Good morning world,

In all honesty I do - Love to shop - but that's not truly what this post is about, well maybe only a little bit! It is mostly about the card, honestly :-)

After saying I've got so much stuff I wouldn't need to buy anything for years and years and years - guess what I did. Yep, went craft shopping!  Was very good though I didn't buy any papers, which was my main temptation in years gone past, instead I got dies. Oh and in the interests of honesty a few stamps, but they were in a sale, honest guv'nor they were!

So baring the die used to give the frilly edge, everything you see on this card is from my stuff.  I'm still getting back into the swing of good photographs of my cards.  I notice that not many people are taking pictures of cards standing anymore, and they are also adding lots of arty backgrounds and props.  I think that would take some practice for me - am not an arty photographer!!

Anyways, waffle over, the image is AllDressedUp - Love to Shop, however it's slightly different to the one I've used.  Mine is a single girl, the one in the shop is a trio.  Wouldn't be any problem to crop it down though - the magic of digis!

Coloured as always with my Copics and everything else is from my large mountain of craft things, apart from said die which is Pretty Pink Posh - Scallop Borders 1.

So I hope everybody had a good weekend (or as good as you could in these strange times).  I'll be back again in a few days.

Signing off,

Sarah

Colouring woes and colouring cats!

 Hello world,

I'm back again, and before I go any further I want to say hello to Hazel (Didos) for being my first follower, so hello there and how lovely to have 'found' you again!

Onto card, I've never been that confident with colouring either hair or fur.  Therefore this card is more me practicing both those skills than having an image I can look at and go 'wow what a good job I did with colouring this"!

Additionally, the first attempt at colouring Marci with a black cat the ink splodged on her hair and the image couldn't be saved so it went in the bin. Shame really as I quite liked how colouring the cat had gone.

Anyways, here is said image on said card and I'll allow people to make up their own minds!

The image is from La La Land Crafts and is called Marci with cat, coloured with the trusty Copics.   Again, I can't find her in their shop, I'm guessing it's an image that has been withdrawn in the years since I brought it.

Everything else is from my very large stock of 'stuff'.

So there's the waffle for today.

Signing off,

Sarah

Beats Bella

 Hello blogland people

This is me starting down the road of being a regular blogger type person again.  It's taking me a long time to create / take a pic / blog (& now Instagram) a card - am sooo out of practice!  Let's hope it gets easier again as I get re-used to it, otherwise the air will be blue in our house for a very long time.

So this card was made for a friend of Triple T (The Troublesome Teenager) - who grew out of being SWMbO (She Who Must be Obeyed) - last year when she turned 13. In more common parlance - my daughter!

Said friend, I'm told, likes music and silver / purple colour combo - hence this card.  Which was a heavy collaboration with Triple T on paper, image and style - I just did the colouring and putting together.

If anyone ever reads this, they can tell me what information I'm forgetting to put on these posts but for now I'll just muddle along.

The image is from Time for Tea but I couldn't find the image on their website - so maybe it's gone? Anyways it was called Beats Bella, I coloured her in with my Copics and then cut round the image. Lots of dies used on the card and a paper pad from First Edition called 'Dreamcatcher'.

I'm still trying to find challenges to participate in, so maybe I'll be back to do link up if I do find anything.

In the meantime, signing off for now,

Sarah
