 Good evening blogland,

Hellloooo!

Hello blogland,

I'm really going to have to stop saying that I've been neglecting the old bloggy blog lately - it's a bit like a stuck record isn't it! Let's just acknowledge that I'm a terrible blogger and card-er right now and I'll stop harping on about it.

I have no idea why my mojo has up and left - it just has.  It's done it before, and come back, and gone again, and come back - I'm sure this little dry spell will be just the same and when it comes back again you'll have to put up with me posting three times a week!

For now, I'm just going back over cards that I've made and not blogged and DT cards.  This is a made and not blogged one.

I'd made it for one of my daughter's friends - however said daughter forgot (at least three times) to give it to said friend, so it is now languishing, with at least a hundred other cards, in my 'made, but what do I do with' box!

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
Saturated Canary coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Catherine Pooler - All Around Wishes
Whimsy Stamps - You're my Always

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangle set
Julie Hickey - Birthday

Anything else:
very old foam numbers

And that's it really, nothing amazing happening here - we are settling into our new routine, TTT is enjoying 6th Form and I'm not making cards!  Hope you're doing better! :-)

See you later,

Sarah

Passion for Markers: Week 707 - Pink or Blue.  It's, obviously, blue - but I'm not sure it'd be enough blue for you? No problems if it's not what you were thinking of.

New release -

Just a little late!

Good morning blogland

This is me, being late as usual, letting you all know about the new release over at All Dressed Up Stamps - I should have posted this on the 7th but, as you all know, I'm the proverbial White Rabbit, forever running late!

So, here's my part of the September 2023 All Dressed Up Digital stamps new release:

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
All Dressed Up - Take a bow
coloured with my Copics

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangle set
Creative Expressions - Bold Words: Celebrate
Creative Craft Products - Notched Edges Supersize Nested dies

Anything else:
Spotty lightweight card
Creative Cafe - felt letters
Craftwork Cards - dots
double sided sticky foam
Ice Stickles

Life is settling into it's new routine over at Chez Sarah - TTT is now the single client of the taxi of Mum & Dad to get to 6th Form.  Also 6th Form seems to be going well so far, well enough, at least, that she's been ready on time every morning for a week now - major achievement for her!  She's also managed to get two merits within her first week, she assures us she has no idea why or what she did to warrant praise - but merits, once given, can't be taken away - so we are running with them! :-)

All joking aside, we are gradually working our way into a new routine and so far it's all going good and she does appear to be enjoying being a 6th Former!

So, that's me done folks.  I have an Autumn resolution to get round to peoples blogs for more than just my DT commenting - and I will stick to it!

See you all soon,
Sarah

Candles and birthdays

Good morning again blogland,

Two posts in one day - it's almost like it's not my blog, eh!  If you've followed the link from Sweet Stampin' you want the post before this.

This time I'm here with my second DT make of the day - it's the first Saturday of a new month and so we have a new challenge from Crafty Calendar Challenge.  This month the theme is a super easy 'Anything Goes' - so as the challenge is open to any crafty project this is a great time to get your entry in!

We also have a fabulous sponsor - Paper Nest Dolls - and a prize on offer for the randomly picked winner of the challenge!

The Design Team were allowed to pick an image to use for this challenge, and this is my make with the digital stamp I chose:

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
Paper Nest Dolls - Ellie with Candle
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Creative Craft Products - Funny Sentiments

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangle set

Anything else:
die off-cuts from another project for the hearts

And that's about it folks - my Teamies have made some fabulous cards this month.  Why not pop over and have a look, you won't be disappointed!

See you soon,
Sarah

Passion for Markers: Week 705 - Feminine Cards

Doodle, doodle, doodle

 Good morning blogland,

This is the first of two posts for today -  a couple of DT cards have collided - so I'm not going to do a lot of waffle, mostly because I don't have enough for two posts!

First challenge of the day.  It's Team Wends turn over at Sweet Stampin' Challenge - and this fortnight the theme is 'Doodling'.  Now, as I'm sure you know, Sweet Stampin' is primarily a 'for fun' stamping challenge, we don't mind what project you enter - it just has to have stamping (digital or rubber) on it and follow the theme.

This is mine:

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
AlexShopsArt - this was an Etsy digi stamp store that shut some time ago
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamps:
My Favorite Things - Hey
Neat and Tangled - Hello there

Dies:
Un-branded stitched rectangle

Anything else:
Copic fine liner for the doodling and drawing the wall

Have to admit to almost forgetting the theme of this challenge - I spent so long looking at the image and wondering how I'd made a cat look more like a dog or cow, that the doodling was marginally overlooked!

Please pop over to the challenge and take a peek at my Teamies work - their doodling is much better than mine! Why not pop in a card while you're there, it's fun!

See you very shortly,
Sarah
