How lovely

 Morning blogland

Still not exactly where I'd like to be with the old bloggy-blog and cardmaking, but slowly getting there.

Card to day is for the All Dressed Up Facebook group challenge, even though I am extremely late to share my inspiration card, there is still time to enter the challenge.  Theme this month is Celebrations - so any project along that theme and the only other condition is that you have to use an All Dressed Up digi.

This is my card:

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
All Dressed Up - Love is in the Air
coloured with my Copics

Dies:
Pretty Pink Posh - Scallop Borders 2 and 'Love you'
un-branded stitched rectangle

Papers:
Basic Grey - porcelain

Anything else:
Creative Expressions - Clouds stencil
Distress Ink
Blending brush

I'm not overly happy with either my colouring of the main balloon or my photographic skills - areas still to work on!

Hope life is treating everyone well and if you Facebook and like All Dressed Up stamps why not pop a card in the group!

Thanks for reading,
See you soon,
Sarah

Hip to be (not) square

 Hello blogland,

It's Saturday and Team Wends turn to play over at Sweet Stampin' - this fortnight the challenge theme is No squares

We'd like to see any shape you can think of for your creation - other than those squares. Please remember, also, that a large part of your creation has to follow the ethos of the challenge - stamping! It doesn't matter if it's old fashioned rubber stamping or the new! invention of digital stamping, there just has to be some stamping on your entry somewhere.

Now if I'd planned this I'd be going for a circle (it's what I tend to make if I'm not doing a square or rectangle) however with me having no foresight or planning I'd run out of time to make something. Hence I raided the archives - once again - and came up with this shaped / folded card I'd made for a friend of TTT's awhile ago, hope you like.

Side on:

Supplies used:

Rubber Stamp:
The Greeting Farm - Miss Anya Lounge
coloured with Copics

Dies:
Very, very old GoKreate - Frilly Frame
Spellbinder for the border and the mount for the stamp

Papers:
So old I'm not even sure where they are from - it could be Craftwork Cards but I'm not sure

Anything else:
flat-backed pearls
pre-printed sentiment from Craftwork Cards

I do hope you get a chance to pop over to the challenge blog, my Teamies have been much more inventive than I have with shapes (and also more organised to get something new made!).

See you soon,
Sarah

Happy to be here

Good morning blogland

I'll wait a moment while you all get over your shock at seeing a post from me pop up, then I'll carry on!

I did not mean at all to leave it so long between posts, I've had a few weeks of it! I'll not bore you with the gory detail just Internet problems, printer problems, child problems = either no time to craft or not able to craft or no way to share what I have made with you all.

Hopefully that is all behind me now and I'll be trying my hardest to get back my routines back, admittedly this week is half-term which has already scuppered my gym routines but, that to one side, I will be posting more regularly.

Oh just to reassure you all child problems are, on a relative scale, minor ones. TTT did something to the finger of one hand (she says she doesn't know how) and ended up in our local emergency care centre (used to be A&E but times move on) twice in two weeks! It's all healing now and the next big shake up is GCSE's in 12 weeks time.  Stress over revision and grades is the main thing on her plate right now and therefore on our plates also.

Moving onto more pleasant things - here is my February new release inspiration card for All Dressed Up,  Hope you like!

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
All Dressed Up - Valentines Boy
coloured with my Copics

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangles
Creative Expressions : mini expressions - you make me happy

Papers:
Dovecraft - Sugar and Spice
striped card

Anything else:
paper twine
scrap of Kraft card

I think I've done enough waffling for now, so I'm off! Hopefully I'll see again sooner rather than later!

Sarah
