Boo to you too!

 Morning everyone,

A last minute post to remind anyone who might read this that, if you Facebook, there are a few more days to enter the Facebook only challenge for All Dressed Up Stamps.  It finishes on the last day of the month, as always!

The rules are not too much hassle - belong to the Group, follow the theme (which this month is 'Halloween or use Autumn colours') and use an ADU stamp - follow those and off you go!

This is my DT inspiration card:

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
coloured with my Copics

Dies used:
Die-namics - 'wavy edge'
unbranded stitched rectangles
unbranded alphabet

Papers:
echo park - Chillingsworth Manor

Anything else:
Copic fine liner to draw the spider and web

So you'd think I  would've gone for Autumn colours, but for some reason I went with Halloween. No need for the card, no one to give it to, but I fancied colouring in the image - so off I went!

Feel free to pop over to the Facebook Group and see the other lovely Inspiration makes my Teamies have made and if you don't 'do' Facebook there's always the blog and their challenges.

Off again now - see you later
Sarah

Awww, how cute!

Morning again blogland,

It's another Tuesday so here I am with a new card for a new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  This week our lovely Teamie Lorraine is in charge of the challenge theme and she has picked 'Make it Cute', not a hardship, eh.

Teamed up with the fabulous sponsorship of Rachelle Anne Miller and RAM Stamps  the theme is a match made in heaven!  As Design Team members were were given an image or two to play with and this is my make from one of those images.

Supplies used:

Digital stamp:
RAM Stamps digital image - 'Fairy & Birdy: Leaves'
coloured with my Copics

Rubber stamp:
Whimsy Stamps - Simple Sentiment Strips

Dies:
Creative Craft Products - A2 Essentials: Landscape card die set
Penny Black - hello edger

Anything else:
green cardstock
flat backed gems
sequins

Hope you get a chance to pop over to the challenge and admire the wonderful cards that have been made and even pop your own in when you're there!

See you soon,
Sarah

It's a little spotty!

Good morning blogland,

It's time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' and this fortnight the theme is 'Spots and Stripes'.

As always, this is a 'for fun' challenge, so no prizes - we do this just for the fun and love of stamping!  There are also only two rules - follow the theme and stamp (rubber or digital) on your project somewhere.

Here's my card:

Supplies used:

Rubber stamps:
Image:
Whimsy Stamps - Ruffles / Time for Tea Designs
coloured with Copics
Sentiment:
Taylored Expressions - Simple Strips: Friendship

Dies:
Creative Designs - A2 Card Creator
a very old tab die - so old I can't even remember where I got it
Taylored Expressions - Simple Strips: asymmetrical

Anything else:
Time for Tea Designs - Simple Stripes Stencil
Cosmo Cricket - Pixie-Licious
Distress Ink
blending brush
flat backed gems

Back in the using smaller un-inked rubber stamps groove, so the American sized card die came out and I've made another diddy card.

Right I'm off now to do some painting - of the walls sort!

Bye for now,
Sarah

Late to the party

 Evening blogland,

This should have been posted on Saturday, to coincide with the new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge but I obviously pressed the wrong button and it didn't happen.  So here's the post as it should have been:

After a bit of break Crafty Calendar Challenge is back!  This month there's no sponsor, but a lovely prize for one lucky winner and an easy peasy challenge theme of 'Anything goes'.  For this challenge I decided to share on the birthday cards I'd made for TTT when she turned 17 in June.

Here it is:

Supplies used:

Rubber stamp:
The Stamp Hut - Linda Ravenscroft: Gothic Fairies
coloured with my Copics
Woodware - Just Words (sentiment)

Anything else:
Home made cloud stencil
Distress Inks
blending brush
very old chipboard numbers

I always make her two cards for both Christmas and birthdays - I will share the other one at some other point, hopefully before her next birthday!

Hope everyone is doing well so, until the next time
Cheers for now,
Sarah

Ooooh how spooky - not!

Good morning blogland,

This post is all about my DT card for this month's new release from All Dressed Up - I am posting it a little late (but then when isn't that a recurring theme with me?!) as always life happens and I've only just found time to do this post.

So - the new release, and how adorable is this little witch!  As you probably know I don't properly 'do' Halloween, no big ethical reason why not, it just wasn't a thing when I was younger and now, living as we do in the middle of nowhere, we don't get Trick or Treaters.  The most we've ever done is carve a pumpkin and take TTT, when younger, to the nearest village so she could knock on a few doors.  Although I don't do cards or decorations or spooky film marathons - I can still appreciate a cute image to colour and this is just what that is!

So here you go, the October New Release from All Dressed Up - the digi I got to work with is called Magic Broomstick and is available from the Etsy shop.

Here's the card:

Supplies used:
Digi stamps:
All Dressed Up - Magic Broomstick
coloured with Copics

SVG printing / cutting file from an Etsy seller - for the sentiment

Dies:
un-branded stitched rectangles
Sunny Studios - stitched circles small

Stencils:
Honey Doo Stencils Collection
Home-made cloud stencil

Anything else:
flat backed gems
striped card
Distress Inks
blending brush

The Honey Doo stencil is difficult to describe, it's a stencil with lots of holes cut out but they also provide you with the cut outs.  Here's the link, which is probably more use than my mad ramblings! It's useful as you can use either the stencil itself or the solid cut outs to make negatives.  I used one of the cut-outs to create the moon up in the left hand corner.

To have a look at the rest of this month's releases - you can go here to the FaceBook Group: here to the Blog or. to purchase, go here to the Etsy shop.

And that's me done folks,
until the next time,
Sarah

Not squared!

Good morning blogland

A new challenge has come around for Team 1 at Passion for Markers, and the wonderful Lisa has picked this week's theme which is 'Anything but square'.

Our sponsor this time is Lili of the Valley, who have given us a wonderful prize for one lucky - drawn at random - winner.  So all there is now is to get your markers out, follow the theme to create something wonderful and enter it into the challenge!  Even if you don't get picked as this week's lucky winner, you are still in with a shout of having Lisa pick your card as a Top 5!

As Lili of the Valley are our sponsors this week they very kindly allowed the DT to pick a digi to use on their cards and this my card made with my pick:

Supplies Used:

Digital Stamp:
Lili of the Valley - Patch and Puss Peekaboo
coloured with my Copics

Dies used:
Spellbinders - Grand Nestabilities: Scalloped Circles
Creative Craft Products: Stitched Nestabilities
(I can't remember who does the 'Big Hugs' I will check and get back)

Papers:
Prima: Doodle Deux
Anna Marie Designs: striped card

Anything else:
Craftwork cards: pre-printed sentiment
flat backed gems

And that's it folks.

Hope you find the time to go over and take a punt on entering the challenge - you could be the lucky one and you get to see the fabulous cards my Teamies have made.  Also maybe, one day, when I have more time, I might even take my own advice and get back into entering blog challenges!  You never know!

Until then, laters,
Sarah
