Oh yes it's definitely Autumn now!
Good morning blogland,
New Tuesday, new challenge and today I am presenting Passion for Markers for your perusal! 😀 This also explains the heading of the post - our Teamie Marie chose the theme this week and she picked 'Autumn colours' as this weeks' theme. Hence, checking out the window to see what the world outside looks like!
Our fab sponsor this week is LeAnn's World 101 who have a lovely prize for one randomly drawn winner. While I'm talking about winning - a reminder to be in with a chance at the prize, or a Top 5 Passionista, there are rules to follow. Those rules being : use your markers; follow the theme; no backlinking. As always even though the DT make cards - you don't have to, just make sure to use your markers on what you do make.
LeAnn allowed the DT to pick a digi to use for our makes, if we wanted, and I chose a super cute image to turn into this card:
Supplies used:
Digital stamp:
the digi is the couple on the bench - the rest is my colouring
all coloured with Copics
Rubber stamp:
Neat&Tangled - 'Together'
Dies:
Neat&Tangled - Together word die
un-branded stitched rectangles
Anything else:
dark blue card for matting
un-branded stencil for the cobblestones
Distress Ink and blending brush
And that's it folks! My only complaint with this card is - I love the 'together' part of the stamp set but, unfortunately, as it's an American brand the word 'favourite' is using the American spelling - jarring to my British spelling eye!
I really do like, when I have time, doing a whole colouring scene, I find it the most relaxing part of colouring. Otherwise, I'm stressing over patterned paper, arranging die-cuts and images and layout. It all becomes a bit of a faff!
And that's about it folks.
Go see what my wonderful Teamies have created, and pop yourself in an entry while you're there - you never know you might win!
See you soon,
Sarah
