Halloween

 Morning blogland,

It's the start of a new month and so the start of a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge and, as you may have guessed from the title of the post, as it's October the theme this month is 'Halloween'.

We have the wonderful Lili of the Valley as our sponsor, with a prize for one lucky random winner.  To be in with the chance of winning, or being picked as our Top 3, you just need to follow the theme - we don't have any rules about what you can create but you must follow the theme.  The only restriction we have is a maximum of 3 entries per person.

Here's my card:

Supplies used:

Digital image:
etsy seller - PawsLetters
It's a pre-coloured image from a set called 'Witches in Black'
I also created the sentiment in Publisher

Dies:
Spellbinders: Nestabilities - Decorative Labels Eight
My Favorite Things - Fishtail Foundations
Creative Expressions - Noble Collection: Stitched Squares
Creative Expressions - Noble Collection: Stitched Rectangles

Paper:
BoBunny - Weekend Market Collection

Anything else:
Heavy black card for the card base
light black card

And that's it folks, we don't 'do' Halloween in our house and so this card will probably go to one of the TTT's friends who is more into the whole 'spooky season' thing.

Hope everyone is well.

Sarah

  1. A lovely spooky card, Sarah. The witch is so striking in monochrome.

  2. A fabulous witch image and a beautiful design. Hope TTT is settling in ok and you're not missing her TOO much, it really feels strange when they first fly the nest. Granddaughter went off to uni last weekend and we're all missing her (especially her Mum and sister!)
