Children

Hello Blogland

And again I'm so behind with posting - this time I'm taking responsibility for not getting posts up. I'll explain what's going on after I catch up with things that I was meant to do.

With it being a new month - well relatively now - there's a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge with the theme for May being 'for a child'.  We don't have sponsors anymore but there is, instead, always a lovely prize on offer and this the prize for May.

So the rules for this challenge are always super simple - follow the theme and create something!

OK, so my card, it's not at all like I normally make (partially time constraints, partially I was rummaging!) so I'm warning you if you're looking for stamping it's not here! This is it:

Supplies used:

Pretty much everything:
Kanban - Patchwork Pals

The only other thing I used was a My Favorite Things Die-namic die - 'Big Hugs'

The only explanation for this card I can give is that I was rummaging for something else and came across a whole drawer of Kanban stuff - which I think I brought off of the TV shopping channel Create and Craft probably around 12 to 15 years ago.  I used some, didn't like most of it, and dumped it in the drawer of doom and that's where it stayed until now.

Anyways for a theme of 'for a child' I thought it worked perfectly.

I'm off now to do all those Saturday things that don't get done during the week - which also includes catching up on other posts and then the domestic stuff like washing and cleaning and inducing a nearly 18 year old to get out of bed!

A final note, please pop on over to the challenge - my Teamies have made some lovely cards and it would be a shame to miss them.
